Charcuterie refers to the specialized artful arrangement of different cured meats, cheeses, and a variety of baked goods and accompaniments, often inspired by a specific theme. Originating in the Roman Empire, this culinary tradition was later embraced by the French. It offers a delightful experience, beautifully presented on a selection of boards and sizes, creating a feast for both the eyes and the palate. This is where art and food converge!. It can be done for 1 person as a gift and for larger crowds it can be done as a part of a grazing table.
For larger events, such as weddings, it’s essential to gather specific information about the size and theme of the occasion. We’ll work with the bride and groom or a CEO of a company or who-ever is in charge to schedule a future appointment, during which we can conduct a “test-run” showcasing a selection of charcuterie products on a smaller scale for tasting and feedback. Typically, we can also offer a combination of charcuterie and a more standard platters combination to make it more affordable. Careful planning is crucial and is tailored to meet the needs and specifications of our clients.
A standard platter on the other hand usually take 24 hours from quote , ordering and delivering.
Once our quote is accepted, an 80% deposit is required to initiate the process, with the remaining balance due when everything is set up and ready for the guests.

What could be more delightful than a freshly baked aniseed rusk or a slice of "boerbrood" with a thick slice of butter? The aromatic flavor of aniseed, paired with its light and airy texture, is truly satisfying.
Our "boerbrood" is baked only with a with a "insuurplantjie" like the generations before us. It is heavy and delicious.....where time stands still.
